Beautiful Gphone is it a dream or a reality?

Well I have to tell you first that I am a fan of google as you can see my beautiful background. Why am I enthusiastic about that? Simply because they have done it so far the way I would have. This explains why I pay tribute regarding one of their new babies which should I day coming soon...  « Android Gphone ».

Very early around the 1990s, I was browsing on Archie with my little and so fantastic modem 9600 bauds. Since then and besides all that I have done in the field of art and new-tech, I remained a surfer-actor on the web. Which specialties? Interactivities in the domain of multimedia and studies on the social impact of technologies on our society. But let's stop talking about me and exchange about what the Gphone could be :

First : paying less : a Gphone around $100 US and up is way too expensive for teenagers. Let's go for 65$ up to 85$ (imagine if google sales amount to 50 millions of Gphones); then a wimax network would be dedicated to Gphone around universities, schools, downtowns into subway, inside big malls, etc...this would be the main connectivity of Gphone 3G to internet; of course with many different Sim card, we will be able to call outside wimax zones. But the gphone won't just be like any other cellular with only a smart and tactile screen on it; it has to be more, it has to be like an electronic big brother (not the one you think) or even a e-big sister for the new generation.

Let me explain : Gphone will put internet in your pocket; you will be able to update your myspace account and see your new video friends on youtube, watch movies and also make any request on wikipedia regarding maths, literature, science, or about biological environment of course news alert, weather maps, gps, without paying anything anytime anywhere. No browsing and plugs in restriction; and yes Linux seems very fine for this. A open platform with Android will be perfect match.

The Gphone of my dream will arrive practically empty, ready with the basic application, with a memory card slot (increasing memories as needed), a good speaker, an audio in/out, a video out for playing a poker game or browsing internet on TV or on any bigger screen (both screens will then stay active), a laser keyboard, yes you know like that one : this bluetooth virtual laser keyboard for fast chat typing! A usb 2.0 slot in/out even if the gphone let's you exchange files amongst users connected to the same WiFi .

It will be a self service mobile interface, which means that you will upload any application that will make your Android phone unique and useful for yourself or for grandma if you decide to offer her one for her recipes online! Or to your grandpa for his stamps collection on ebay, or for your little sister in order not to miss a new kidrobot limited online sale during school time!

You can grab a picture and use it to update your blog on the fly and do video clips on real time in order to broadcast on your home page, your last snowboarding exploit, do a video-conference as well, if you want to share your new make-up with your girl friend, have a FTP software to log on your sites to do a quick change or a science calculator or any data base that you may need for your favourite sport, leisure, when you look at the sky, or for your work.

It will be your portable little office, abling you to make a fast photo of any document on the wall and make it into a fax that you send over email, like efax. You can turn it into a recorder to record a song of a talented street musician and send in mp3 to your friends list over the internet.

It can also be used to video in real time your entrance or in any location when you are behind your laptop. And of course it will be a game freak station if you decide to do so. And why not make your Android Gphone a little of all this?

Update 5 nov 07:

I forgot to tell you about my new idea! and if Android Gphone will have a RFID Reader Integrated? what is RFID?
